Fruit juice healthy? Not always. It often contains a lot of sugar and by eating 'normal' fruit, you stay satiated longer than from a juice.
It seems to be slowly getting through to more and more people, because less and less fruit juice and fruit drinks are requested. In 2013, Dutch supermarkets sold 756 million litres. In 2015 that fell to 698 million liters and it is expected that only 639 million liters will be sold in 2016. Fewer carbonated soft drinks are also being sold. Flavored water, on the other hand, is becoming increasingly popular.
