Not every health trend is for us. This might be one we'd rather skip:cockroach milk.
Research shows that cockroach milk is very good for you. Do cockroaches produce milk then? we immediately wondered. Apparently there is a species (the diploptera punctata) that does not lay eggs, but gives birth to babies. After birth, this cockroach species gives milk. The milk is rich in nutrients such as amino acids and proteins.
At the moment cockroach milk is not yet for sale. More research is needed. If the milk ever makes it to the market, it's unlikely that the milk will actually come from cockroaches. There is a greater chance that the milk will be counterfeited in a lab.
Would you dare to taste it?
