It is wonderful not to have to take housemates into account, or to have the bed to yourself, but living alone does not have a good influence on your eating habits.
Why people living alone are more likely to make unhealthy food choices This is the conclusion of Australian researchers who analyzed the results of 41 studies. There were some patterns to be found that indicate that people living alone eat less healthily. For example, people living alone would eat vegetables, fruit and fish less often. It's harder to find motivation to cook when you're only cooking for yourself. And eating alone is also less pleasant than eating together.
