Only 10 percent of people are left-handed.
Collaborate
According to scientists, this has to do with social behaviour. When you have to work together, it is useful if you are all left or right handed. For example, it is easier to share tools with each other.
Competition
When you compete with each other, it is actually an advantage to be 'different'. If right-handers always fight with right-handers and suddenly have a left-hander as an opponent, the left-hander can take advantage of that.
Other statement
A Dutch researcher challenged the above theory. 'Left-handers appear to have a higher risk of diseases such as autism and schizophrenia. It is thanks to good healthcare that left-handedness continues to exist.'
