Doing fun things or going into nature?
Dutch women like to go into nature when they feel gloomy. Some women are even more excited about it than doing fun things, boosting confidence, exercising more, going on vacation, or reading a self-help book.
Nature on prescription
Going into nature is wonderful and it also helps to reduce stress and to organize thoughts. As a result of the research, the Psychological Health Fund has drawn up exercises that help you to relax even more in nature. You can view the exercises here.
In Finland such an approach with exercises has already proved successful. More than half of the walkers would recommend the exercises to others and do them again themselves.
