Ribiz.nl publishes a blacklist of doctors, specialists, general practitioners and nurses who have been suspended or removed from their appeal following a decision by a disciplinary court.
Minister Ab Klink of Health had the black list of doctors on the internet already announced because until now it was difficult for patients to find out whether a doctor is allowed to practice his profession † The list only includes healthcare providers against whom measures are in force at the time of consultation. Patients don't learn about old judgments against a doctor.
At the moment there are almost fifty doctors, dentists, nurses and psychotherapists on the list who are never allowed to practice their profession again. Suspensions are not yet mentioned in the blacklist.
Soon the data about punished care providers will also be available on kiesbeter.nl , a website where patients can see where they can best go for a specific procedure.
