Enjoy the benefits of Aleppo soap in the shower with my recipe for natural shower gel to make yourself.
I don't know about you, but all the ads for shower gels annoy me.
They even promise sometimes to give morale for the day, an excuse in my opinion to sell them expensive.
A shower gel should wash and moisturize, no more. And making it yourself saves money. Come on, I'll show you my homemade recipe...
Aleppo soap is probably my best friend when I'm in my bathroom. On its own, it hydrates so much so that it has as many benefits as a surgras soap.
With a vegetable composition, this soap also has healing properties. and antiseptics . That's why we also use it against acne or insect bites, for example.
With all these benefits, it will guarantee our shower gel all the qualities we expect from it:a gentle, moisturizing and hypoallergenic cleansing base.
We will associate it with just a little lavender, for the sweet smell and the soothing and calming side.
Aleppo soap and lavender essential oil are sold in organic stores, online and in some supermarkets.
The best Aleppo soap is preservative-free and with at least 20% laurel oil in its composition. The Karawan brand, for example, is excellent. All this is reminded to you in this article.
Here is my recipe for Aleppo soap shower gel. Watch:
- 1 Aleppo soap of 200 g
- 1 liter of water
- 15 drops of lavender essential oil
1. Grate the soap.
2. Heat it gently in a saucepan with the water.
3. Add essential oil.
4. Leave to cool.
There you go, your Aleppo soap shower gel is now ready :-)
It will come in a pump bottle of one liter and can be used for several months, as long as a shower gel sold in the supermarket.
Aleppo soap with 16% laurel costs €10. Lavender essential oil about €3 for 30 ml.
With the necessary quantities, your DIY shower gel will cost you around €8 per litre . Knowing that a Tahiti-type shower gel costs at least €4 for 250 ml... I've finished convincing you, haven't I?
Especially since making homemade shower gel is really easy.
I am addressing the Gentlemen :do you know that the same recipe, replacing lavender with mint or tea tree essential oil, can make an excellent shaving foam ? Try it, let me know.
Are you going, or have you ever tried to prepare your own shower gel? Come tell me that in the comments. We can't wait to read you!
