Thyme essential oil can be used both internally and externally.
For internal use, you can add it to your cooked dishes. You can also enjoy its benefits in the form of inhalation, or through an essential oil diffuser.
In external use, you can put a few drops in your bath or in massages and frictions. If you want to apply it to the skin directly, consider diluting it. Otherwise it will be too concentrated.

Against cold snaps
As soon as you feel tired, feverish, think of thyme essential oil to fight against this onset of cold snap. Boil some water. In a bowl, mix 1 drop of linalool thyme or thujanol thyme essential oil with 1 drop of true lavender essential oil.
Pour the hot water. Inhale while leaning over the bowl. Cover your head with a towel. Inhale deeply for 5 minutes.
To treat warts
Using a cotton swab, drop a little essential oil on the wart to heal. Cover with a bandage. Repeat every day until the wart disappears.
A distinction is made between two essential oils of thyme:thymol essential oil of thyme and the oil Essential thyme with linalool or thujanol.
The essential oil of thyme with thymol is a very powerful antiviral. It should be used with caution, especially for internal use. It can indeed be toxic to the liver. In external use, it can be irritating to the skin and mucous membranes.
Thyme essential oil with linalool and thyme essential oil with thujanol are less aggressive. They can be used internally or externally.
