My homemade blush will highlight your cheekbones. It is easy to apply and immediately gives a healthy glow.

What you need

- water

- baby powder

- red food coloring (liquid)

- an empty make-up container

How to

1. In a bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of water with the desired amount of food coloring:
- 1 to 2 drops to make pale pink
- 3 to 4 drops to make hot pink
- 5-6 drops to make dark pink/red

2. Add the talc, 1-2 teaspoons at a time, and stir until smooth.

3. Keep adding talc until you get the consistency of soft clay. The mixture should be crumbly and easily crumble into small pieces, as in the image above.

4. Using your fingers, pat the mixture into an empty makeup case until it is full.

Usage

You can use this homemade blush right away, but for best results, let your mixture air dry first.

The blush is applied with a makeup brush on the cheekbones, smiling slightly, and ends with small touches on the temple.

How to find the perfect shade?

The advantage of this recipe is that the color combinations you can make are endless .

Try adding a bit of yellow to get a beautiful apricot complexion or a few drops of blue for a blush with purple notes .

Note: when wet, homemade blush is MUCH darker in color than when dry! So don't panic if your mixture is too red during preparation.

Here is the exact recipe for each of the colors in the photo above:

Blue spoon
- 8 drops of red
- 6 cl of water
- Add baby powder (until the consistency of a paste)

Pink spoon
- 6 drops of red
- 6 cl of water
- Add baby powder (until the consistency of a paste)

Yellow spoon
- 5 drops of red
- 1 drop of blue
- 6 cl of water
- Add baby powder (until the consistency of a paste)

Green spoon
- 3 drops of red
- 10 drops of yolk
- 6 cl of water
- Add baby powder (until the consistency of a paste)

Last tip: do a test on the hand a few hours before applying your homemade blush on the face, in order to avoid an unpleasant surprise in the event of an allergic reaction.
