It was unexpected news from presenter Johan Derksen. In the last broadcast of this year of Veronica Inside, he announced that his colleague Hélène Hendriks is in hospital.
The reason for her hospitalization is unknown. A spokesperson for Talpa also said nothing about it.

The presenter could actually make an item at a football club for Veronica Inside. She would visit the sports park there for the program, because an amount would be awarded from the sponsor Toto. Derksen said in the broadcast:"Hélène was supposed to do the award ceremony there, but I got a call that she is in hospital."
When table companion René van der Gijp asked what was going on, Derksen was unable to say anything about it because of privacy legislation.
Hélène was featured in Santé magazine last July with an extensive interview about her lifestyle.
