The prediction is that at the end of this week there will be a lot of pollen in the air and that means:hay fever complaints. There are a number of habits that you can better adapt during this period.
1. You don't wash your hair every day
It is good for your hair not to wash it every day. But if you have hay fever, it is wise to temporarily do so. If you are outside during the day, pollen can end up in your hair. These can make your hay fever symptoms worse. Rinse your hair at the end of the day.
2. You wear your shoes in the house
Especially if you have flood cover or a rug, pollen can easily 'stick' to it. Keep your house clean and take off your shoes at the door.
3. You throw your clothes on your bedroom floor
The list becomes predictable, you would prefer to leave pollen outside the house and certainly not take them into your bedroom. Dispose of your clothes neatly in the laundry basket.
4. You leave the windows open all day
Airing your house is healthy. In order not to suffer from hay fever, it is best to check the weather forecast in advance. A good time to open everything up is when it has just run. There will then be less pollen in the air.
