Ouch…
During a long journey, it always ends up settling:driving cramp!
She shoots in the calf and it's unbearable. It prevents you from driving properly.
Fortunately, we have an effective remedy to immediately relieve a driving cramp.
The trick is to do some targeted stretching exercises on the foot and calf, while stationary of course!
We explain to you what to do in case of cramps.
How to
If you feel the cramp setting in:
1. Stop your car in a safe place.
2. Sitting in the car, point your toes.
3. Raise the big toe towards the shin for 1 min.
4. Release then repeat for 1 min.
5. Then raise the tip of the foot towards the tibia.
6. Hold for 1 min.
7. Repeat twice.
If the cramp is already installed:
1. Get out of your car in a safe place.
2. Put your hands on the car.
3. If you only have pain in one calf, do a forward lunge.
4. Pain in both calves? Bend both knees, as if to sit on a chair.
5. Hold for 1 min.
And now your cramp is relieved :-)
You can get back on the road.
To perform an effective lunge, use this athlete's trick:take a big step forward with the painful leg and bend it. The foot is flat on the ground to promote stretching. The other leg is extended behind. The slightly open foot is flat.
If your two calves are sore, remember to keep your hands on the car and your feet flat on the ground.
Warning:
Be careful. Always park in a safe place for you and other drivers.
