Are you hot? But no air conditioning or fan?
Why not use a fan to beat the heat?
It's very simple to do and you will be able to cool off quickly.
And the children too!
All you need is card stock, 2 popsicle sticks, and glue.
Here's how to make a beautiful fan in 5 minutes flat. Watch:
1. Take a sheet of card stock.
2. Fold it like an accordion all the way.
3. Once the sheet is accordion-folded, fold it in half.
4. Repeat the operation 3 times.
5. Now glue the middle of each accordion with glue. Here I used a hot glue gun to hold it together.
6. Let dry. You can put clothespins so that the 2 edges stay well glued while it dries.
7. Glue the three accordions together and leave open at the bottom to glue the sticks.
8. Take two popsicle sticks.
9. Glue them on each side of the fan to make a handle.
And There you go ! You made your paper fan in 5 min flat :-)
You can cut the ends or make small holes in the paper to decorate it.
Once the hot weather has passed, why not make several to make a pretty decoration for a party?
