How do you clean baby's bottom? And how do you wash it off?

Mom's words:nothing beats oleo-limestone liniment for babies, especially when you have a homemade recipe for making it.
Oil-limestone liniment is a healthy, chemical-free product that has proven itself.
Generations of baby bottoms have tested and approved it.
You may still doubt it, but the oil-limestone liniment is well worth all the cleansing milks!
Oil-limestone liniment is a thick, slightly greasy product, green/olive yellow in color. The smell is quite neutral.
It is composed of only 3 products:olive oil, lime water, and a little beeswax, and that's it!
Here is the simple recipe for homemade oleo-calcareous liniment that your baby will love:
For 200 ml of oil-limestone liniment:
- 100 ml lime water
- 100 ml organic olive oil
- 4 g of beeswax
- 5 drops of organic grapefruit seed extract (optional)
- a disinfected bottle
1. Heat the oil over low heat in a bain-marie.
2. Add the beeswax and melt it.
3. As soon as the wax is melted, remove from the water bath.
4. Add lime water.
5. Mix with a disinfected spoon until you get a yellow-green cream.
6. Add 5 drops of grapefruit seed extract if desired.
7. Pour your mixture into the bottle.
There you go, you have made your oleo-limestone liniment with lime for baby :-)
Easy, right?
Grapefruit seed essential oil will allow you to keep your liniment for 3 months.
If you don't add any, it will keep for 15 days.
Note: instead of olive oil, you can also use apricot kernel oil or sweet almond oil (check before baby is not allergic to almonds).
Oil-limestone liniment is the best product to wash baby and clean his buttocks when we change it.
With this product, the risk of diaper rash is minimal.
But it is also particularly suitable for moisturizing dry skin and areas where eczema develops.
It is also very effective in removing baby milk crusts. Just coat them with liniment, leave to act for 5 min.
Then gently remove them with a cotton ball.
Even more surprisingly, it is an excellent make-up remover!
Lime water is a filtered mixture of aerial lime dissolved in water. You can make it yourself, buy it at the pharmacy or here online.
It is the lime water that will remove all traces of urine and stool. Olive oil will moisturize baby's skin.
You're in a rush ? Here is an even easier and quicker recipe to make.
Simply mix lime water and olive oil in a sterilized bottle, in equal parts. All that remains is to shake well to mix before each use.
To complete baby's cleansing, you can use chamomile hydrosol, ylang-ylang hydrosol or true lavender hydrosol.
Just put it on a reusable wipe or cotton.
