Want to cut your bangs without going to the hairdresser?
It's true that bangs always grow too fast. And going to the hairdresser every month costs a fortune...
Luckily, a hairdresser friend showed me how to cut my locks on my own without messing up.
Yes, there is a pro tip to easily cut your bangs yourself. Watch:
Contents
- a comb
- a bowl of water
- a pair of sharp scissors
1. Wet your bangs with your fingers.
2. Detangle your bangs with the comb.
3. Twist your strand in a spiral clockwise for bangs on the right (if it's on the left, it's the opposite).
4. Carefully cut the small feather duster of hair at an angle, from the forehead to the outer corner of the eye.
5. Scissor a few vertical strokes to taper.
6. Unroll your wick.
There you go, you cut your bangs all by yourself easily :-)
Now all you have to do is dry your hair.
Your bangs are a little shorter and not straight, but slightly tapered for a natural look.
Be careful not to cut too high:just cut a few millimeters.
The hair dries tends to go up.
Better to do it twice than to risk cutting too short.
A shampoo-cut-brushing at a hairdresser costs between 20 and 50 € depending on the fairs.
If your hairdresser is nice, he should still agree to cut your locks or bangs for you for 5 to 10 € uniquely. But free is better right?
By maintaining your bangs yourself, you can wait between two visits to the hairdresser. You cut your hairdressing budget in half. From 8 times, you only go 4 times. That's a savings of 200 €!
