Every year the Heart Foundation organizes the Hartstocht, a walking initiative in which many walkers collect money for heart research. An important moment to draw attention to the importance of a healthy heart and a healthy lifestyle.
The Harstocht is organized in collaboration with Becel and will take place this year on 10 April 2021 † This edition of the Passion is of course completely corona-proof.
You choose the distance you want to walk (5, 10, 15, 20 or 30 km) and receive a tailor-made walking route on the day itself via the eRoutes walking app. You start and finish in front of your own front door or place of your choice! The route is created via your GPS location. If you register before March 28, you are assured of a starter pack that will be sent to your home. In the run-up to April 10, you will receive an interesting podcast and tips &tricks about a heart-healthy lifestyle every week.
Everyone walks their own route through the country, but of course you don't walk this route all alone. To provide you with the best encouragement and the best music, with your ticket of €15 you also get access to the Hartstocht Radio, including request numbers from participants, interviews with famous Dutch people and enthusiastic encouragement. And let's not forget that (virtual) medal at the finish. That's how you get through that walking tour!
