Aloe vera is the houseplant of the month for August. Would you like a little more greenery in your home, but you don't have green fingers? Then the aloe vera plant can be a good start.
1. Easy to care for
Aloe vera only needs a drink of water once every two weeks. Forgot to water once? The plant can recover itself.
2. Has a purifying effect Aloe vera provides oxygen and purifies the air. It is therefore also an ideal bedroom plant.
3. Contains nourishing gel The gel that comes out of the leaves has a healing effect due to the antioxidants and minerals. Handy to use on your bandaged skin, on an itchy insect bite or on small wounds. The gel has a moisturizing effect on your skin, has an anti-inflammatory effect and is rich in vitamins E and C.
There are hundreds of types of aloe plants. The most famous is the Aloe Barbadensis, popularly called Aloe Vera (the real aloe).
