Healthy addition
Researchers have succeeded in extracting polyphenols from the skin of a peanut. They put that in matrodextrin powder. Adding the powder to milk chocolate gives it the same benefits as dark chocolate.
Is the healthier milk chocolate also tasty?
Eighty subjects tasted the chocolate. They only noticed that something had been added to the chocolate when more powder was added than necessary to make the chocolate healthier.
More research needed
As is often the case with discoveries, more research is needed first. But who knows, who knows, we will be eating milk chocolate within a certain period of time that is just as healthy as dark chocolate.
