Yes, you can sunbathe with self-tanner. Self-tanner adheres to the top layer of your skin (the dead skin cells). While the natural tanning process by the sun takes place in a deeper skin layer.
No protection
An important side note:self-tanner protects you not against combustion. Always use sunscreen before going out into the sun.
Not directly in the sun It is best not to go out into the sun immediately after applying a self-tanner. Preferably apply the self-tanner the night before.
