Today the 2010 Oosterschelde lobster season officially starts and that means:homegrown lobster in the fish trade and better restaurants!
Eastern Scheldt lobster is not only delicious, the lobster is also sustainably caught † He is not bred; the catch depends on what nature has to offer the lobster in terms of food, water quality and water temperature.
The Zeeland lobsters may only be caught from April 1st to July 15th † Specimens that are too small and lobsters that carry eggs are put back into the sea. In the same period, ten Zeeland restaurants serve a special lobster menu have. The menu costs € 59.50 everywhere and is different at every restaurant.
