The leave-in mask your hair will LOVE.

The leave-in mask your hair will LOVE.

Coconut is the Swiss army knife of beauty.

You can do anything with it!

You do not believe me ? Discover our article on the 50 uses of coconut oil.

On the other hand, as a leave-in mask, coconut oil is a little too oily for the hair.

Luckily, coconut milk is here! It softens and conditions the hair without weighing it down.

Just spray on clean, damp hair. And that's it, done.

Don't worry, it only takes a few minutes to make this mask. I hope you will like this recipe as much as I do :-). Watch:

The leave-in mask your hair will LOVE.

Ingredients

- A small sprayer of about 50 ml like this one.

- 1/4 cup of distilled water or tap water that has been boiled for 5 minutes and left to cool.

- 1 tablespoon canned coconut milk.

- Up to 10 drops of essential oil.

Which essential oil to choose for your leave-in mask?

- Tea tree and rosemary are often recommended for oily hair due to their astringent qualities and for maintaining freshness. Rosemary is ideal for making hair shine.

- Lavender is a favorite of mine for normal to dry hair because it's nourishing.

- Vanilla just smells amazing. Especially when mixed with coconut.

How to

1. Whisk the coconut milk, water and essential oils to mix them well.

2. Pour the mixture into a spray bottle.

3. To avoid mess, freeze leftover coconut milk in an ice cube tray. Put 1 tablespoon per compartment. You can thaw it to make this balm again.

Usage

Shake the bottle before use. Then spray on damp hair. Comb the hair to distribute throughout the hair.

Preservation

Store this homemade mask in the fridge, as it does not contain preservatives. That's why I only make it in very small quantities and use it right away.
