Soon the end of year celebrations and the opportunity to make all beautiful. It starts with clear, purified skin.
Here is my SPA session at home for a radiant face.
Let's start with the beginning. I want to be beautiful for Christmas Eve. Instead of immediately going through the foundation-concealer-blush box, I will first purify my skin.
Otherwise, it's a bit of a mess under my layer of cream. And I don't want to end up full of pimples the day after the holidays. So, I take care of my face with a SPA session to do at home. Come on, let's get pampered ladies!
What better way to get started than to purify your skin with a home hammam session?
This summer, when I was walking in the lavender fields, I harvested a good bunch. At first, it was for its good smell, but lavender has more than one beneficial trick up its sleeve.
Lavender is healing , it is suitable for all skin types and softens it. And then, what a bewitching perfume, huh? So I'm going to use it for my hammam session.
Let's do a steam bath for the face. This will dilate the pores and therefore deeply cleanse my skin.
1. I boil 2 liters of water in a saucepan.
2. I add a generous handful of dried lavender. I let it infuse by putting my face above the pan for 10 min. To do this, I take a towel, cover my head and the pan with it, so that there is no heat loss.
Once the steam bath is done, I wipe my face, patting gently with a towel. It's not over yet!
For the facial, here are the ingredients :
- 2 tablespoons of green clay
- 1 teaspoon sweet almond oil
- 1 tablespoon of natural yoghurt
Mix everything to get a paste. We apply everything on the face in a fairly thick layer.
How long? While the mask dries. We can easily see it, the dark green clay when it is wet becomes light green when it dries and we have skin that pulls. This is no time to laugh!
Well it's not the neighbor!
Green clay effectively eliminates excess sebum, especially on the T zone (forehead, nose, chin) of the face.Yogurt soothes and nourishes the skin.L 'sweet almond oil will soften it like a baby's.
And there, it's clear and clean, my face is sparkling thanks to my SPA session. And taking care of yourself, what a relaxing pleasure.
It is well known that SPA sessions cost a fortune. For a 30-minute facial treatment that unclogs your pores, it takes €49 .
If we add to this a one-hour moisturizing treatment for the face, we add €60 . Or €109 in total per session for a glowing face. If I go there 3 times a year, it costs me €327 a year .
With the few ingredients you will need to do your SPA session at home, it will cost you less than 30€ for ingredients that will serve you for a whole year. There you go€297 saved . There's no picture!
