Tired eyes, aka “visual fatigue”; Sixty percent of all 20- to 45-year-olds seem to suffer from it regularly. Complaints:itchy, red or burning eyes, blurred vision, concentration problems and headache.
Visual fatigue can be caused by stress, fatigue, air conditioning or staring at a screen for long periods of time. It can help to take regular viewing breaks.
20-20-20 rule
The 20-20-20 rule is a good trick for eyestrain:every 20 minutes, look at an object 20 feet away (about 6 meters) for 20 seconds. Closing your eyes for 20 seconds every half hour also works wonders.
