I'm going to give you a very simple trick to stop the bleeding of a small cut:
By pouring powdered pepper into it…
I can already hear you:"But he's crazy, it must sting!" »
Well no, and that's the whole magic of the thing is that it works and it's guaranteed painless!
I was in the middle of an onion slicing operation when my super-sharp knife slipped and literally cut off my thumb.
My first instinct was to run my finger under a trickle of water. Error ! Water thins the blood and therefore promotes bleeding.
My dad, a cook by trade, then grabbed my hand, grabbed the pepper shaker and poured a generous spread on my finger.
Instinctively, I screamed! What could be more natural in short since in the collective unconscious, pepper it stings.
Then, I changed my mind very quickly, noting that not only did it not sting but that I was no longer bleeding at all!
In fact, pepper acts as a barrier that causes blood to clot. As it dries, it will form a small crust that you just have to rinse with water after an hour. Without forgetting to disinfect the wound well.
In the meantime, you can resume the activity you were doing without getting blood everywhere.
This method can be applied to all kinds of small wounds, cuts, abrasions...
On the other hand, be careful, do not dare to pour another condiment on it. A popular idea is that salt helps healing. False! Salt is corrosive and will therefore irritate the wound and... Sting!
This trick does not only apply to superficial cuts. Mine, for example, was still very deep and was bleeding a lot. The pepper immediately scabbed over and stopped the bleeding.
Maghreb mothers also use it on their toddlers when they scrape their lips, because it is a hyper-vascularized area of the body which therefore bleeds a lot.
But for any serious cut, do not hesitate for a moment! Go see a doctor.
